Litter o' Critters

Summer has graciously unfurled its golden bounty upon Ojai. Much to my dissapointment, I now realize that 'June Gloom' is a real meteorological term, not a comfortably melancholy lull that foretells the hazy, rich boredom of summer like I thought. No, it is a hideous skin of pathetic clouds that floats like a layer of scum over the valley and delays the blinding, vibrant colors that a sunny day here would joyously flaunt. Grr.
